There are so many reasons to visit Oahu and one of them is trying the delicious food. There is a large selection of amazing sweets that reflect the culture of Hawaii. I have narrowed down this list to my top five best desserts in Oahu. I made sure to serve some of these treats to my guests at my wedding to get the best tastes on the island. They were a hit, and they couldn’t get enough!

Liliha Bakery has been around since 1950 and serving up their popular coco puffs. They are cream puff pastries filled with creamy chocolate pudding and topped with a thick Chantilly frosting. The frosting has a toffee-like flavor that pairs beautifully with the chocolate filling.

Chocolate Haupia Cream Pie from Ted’s Bakery
Ted’s Bakery has been voted Hawaii’s Best six years straight for its food and desserts, but their pies alone are incredible. Their chocolate haupia cream pie is worth the drive up to the North Shore. It’s the perfect balance of flavors of light whipped cream and coconut haupia layered on top of chocolate pudding. it sounds decadent but it’s not too sweet or overpowering. Pie slices are sold conveniently in their own containers, making it easy to enjoy while picnicking on the beach.
